"From" (stylized in all lowercase) is the first special single by fromis_9. It was released on December 23, 2024.
This is the group's last release under Pledis Entertainment and as an eight-member group, following the departures of Lee Saerom, Roh Jisun, and Lee Seoyeon after their contract with the agency expired in December 2024.
Background[]
On November 29, 2024, Pledis Entertainment announced that fromis_9 would release a fan song as a gift to their fandom, Flovers, on December 23, before ending their exclusive contracts with the label.[1] On December 6, it was announced the special single would be titled as From.[2]
Composition[]
This serves as a fan song dedicated to fromis_9's fandom as a heartfelt expression of gratitude for their support and love.[2] All of the members contributed in writing the lyrics, with Hayoung also participating in its composition. They wrote this as if writing a letter to Flovers, hoping to warm their hearts in winter and bring up fond memories.[3]
