First Impact (stylized in all-caps) is the debut mini album by Kep1er. It was released on January 3, 2022 with "Wa Da Da" serving as the album's title track. The album also contains 3 songs previously featured on the show Girls Planet 999, and these were re-recorded with the 9 members of Kep1er.
"MVSK" was also used to promote the release as well.
The CD version of the album comes in 3 versions: "Connect 0", "Connect -", and "Connect 1".
Background[]
The group was supposed to debut on December 14, 2021 but was postponed after a staff member tested positive to COVID-19.[1]
Commercial performance[]
On November 29, The Recording Industry Association of Japan announced that "Wa Da Da" earned a platinum certification for reaching 100 million streams.[2]
