Reality in BLACK (stylized as reality in BLACK) is the second Korean full-length album by MAMAMOO. It was released on November 14, 2019 with "Hip" serving as the album's title track.
A Japanese edition was released on March 11, 2020[1] with two new songs in Japanese: the Japanese version of "Hip" which was pre-released on February 5, and "Shampoo" which was pre-released on February 19.
The word "BLACK" is an acronym for "Bless Life and Carry Knowledge".
Background[]
The song "Destiny" was performed and released previously in the digital EP, Queendom < Final Comeback > for the competition show Queendom.
Commercial performance[]
On November 12, 2020, "Hip" received a platinum certification for reaching 100 million accumulated streams.[2]
