Queendom 2 (퀸덤 2) is a 2022 reality survival show that aired on Mnet every Thursday at 9:20 p.m. KST from March 31 to June 2, 2022.
It is a sequel to the Mnet reality show Queendom which aired from August 29, 2019 until October 31, 2019.
Background[]
On January 25, 2022, Mnet confirmed that Taeyeon would be participating in Queendom 2 as an MC.[1] On a teaser clip released on February 3, it was then confirmed that the first episode of the show will be released on March 31 at 9:20 PM KST.[2] On February 21, the contestants were confirmed by Mnet.[3]
On February 28, LOONA's agency announced that due to several members of the group testing positive for COVID-19, they will not be participating in the Round 1 performances that were scheduled to be filmed that day.[4]
