Jinu (진우; previously romanized as Jinwoo) is a South Korean singer and actor. He is a vocalist of the boy group WINNER.
He made his solo debut on August 14, 2019 with the single album "Jinu's Heyday".[1]
Career[]
Pre-debut[]
He was scouted by Seungri of the boy band BIGBANG, who was impressed by his dancing and decided to bring him to YG Entertainment. Following the scouting, he became a trainee at YG Entertainment in 2010. He was a backup dancer at the 2011 YG Family Concert, alongside former group member Taehyun.[2]

Jinu enlisted in the military on April 2, 2020 as a public service worker. He was discharged on December 31, 2021.
