Twelve is the first and only Japanese studio album by IZ*ONE. It was released on October 21, 2020 with "Beware" serving as the title track.

This was their final Japanese release before their disbandment.

The physical album comes in seven versions: Type A, Type B, WIZ*ONE, WIZ*ONE Type A, WIZ*ONE Type B, WIZ*ONE Type C and WIZ*ONE Type D.[1]

"Beware" was pre-released on October 7, 2020.

Regular Edition enclosed benefits[]

18 items from the "Beware" music video were gifted to winners of an enclosed benefits contest:[2]

  • 1 autographed blue trunk,
  • 12 autographed "IZ*Candy Shop" bottles,
  • 4 "IZ*Candy Shop" stickers, coming with an autographed sheet,
  • 1 autographed bus stop map.

To participate in the contest, owners of the Regular Edition of the album could enter the serial number contained in their album packaging on a dedicated website before October 29, 2020.

Merchandise[]

Official goods were made available for sale exclusively to the IZ*ONE Japan Official Goods Store, from 1PM JST on October 10, 2020, to 11:59PM on November 1, 2020.[3]

Pop-up store[]

A pop-up store selling exclusive Twelve merchandise was held at Shibuya 109 shopping centers in Shibuya, Tokyo, and Abeno, Osaka, from October 19 to respectively November 8 and November 1, 2020.[4] The items were then available for sale online at Universal Music Store, from November 9 to December 31, 2020.[5]

IZ*ONE Café[]

A special "IZ*ONE Café" was opened in 3 cities in Japan to celebrate the release:[6]

  • In Tokyo, at Shinjuku Box Cafe & Space, from October 19 to November 24, 2020,
  • In Osaka, at Kawara Cafe & Dining, and in Fukuoka, at 24/7 Cafe Apartment Fukuoka, from October 22 to November 23, 2020.

The three locations will be selling food and exclusive goods inspired by the album's concept.

Trivia[]

  • The Japanese lyrics of "La Vie en Rose", "Violeta" and "Fiesta" were respectively written by Hitomi, Nako and Sakura.[7]
