Feverse (Korean: 피버스; Japanese: フィバース) was a five-member virtual girl group under Kakao Entertainment. Formed through the survival show GIRL'S RE:VERSE, they debuted on May 9, 2023 with their first mini album Cho.

They were active for four months until their disbandment on September 26, 2023.

Their name is in reference to their origin shows name: GIRL'S RE:VERSE, and is also the abbreviation of fever, ever and verse, which is formed to mean "passion, forever and universe" respectively.

History[]

Pre-debut: GIRL'S RE:VERSE[]

On January 2, 2023, Kakao TV's GIRL'S RE:VERSE premiered, aiming to create a five-member girl group consisting of active female K-Pop idols. The group would have the opportunity to debut in a virtual world called 'W' in VRChat.[2]

On March 6, the final line-up was revealed through the final episode: KimSerena placed 5th, Rien placed 4th, Keuang placed 3rd, Seoritae placed 2nd and Muneo placed 1st obtaining a center position.[3]

2023: Debut with Cho, Japanese debut, disbandment[]

On April 18, 2023, GIRL'S RE:VERSE's accounts announced that the group is set to debut on May 9 with their first mini album Cho and they will hold a mini showcase, titled Cho Mini Concert on May 8.[4][5][6]

On August 1, it was announced that the group will make their Japanese debut with their first mini album Cho -Japanese ver.- on September 26.[7]

On March 8, 2024 it was announced that Feverse had disbanded following the conclusion of their Japanese activities in September 2023. Kakao Entertainment have no future activities planned for Feverse, although they stated that "anything can happen in the future".[8]
