Fanxy Red (팬시레드; formerly known as Acrush and FFC-Acrush) is a four-member Chinese girl group currently under TOV Entertainment. They made their Korean debut on August 28, 2019 with the digital single "Activate".
Despite all members being female, they dress and look like tomboys.
History[]
2017–2019: Debut as Acrush, re-debut as Fanxy Red with "Activate"[]
Originally a five-member C-pop group named Acrush (formally FFC-Acrush due their collaboration with the brand Fantasy Football Confederation) under Zhejiang Huati Entertainment, they debuted on April 28, 2017 with the single "Action".[1]
In June 2017, two new members were added to the group: Feng Yuxuan and Joel. In November 2017, they released their second single, titled "I'm Sorry". However, the single did not included member Min Junqian, who later announced her departure in December.
In February 2018, Feng Yuxuan departed the group, and, in May 2018, the group was re-branded as Fanxy Red. In April 2019, Joel left, making them a four-member group. They re-debuted on August 28, 2019 with the single album "Activate", which was simultaneously released in China and South Korea.
2020: Youth With You 2[]
In 2020, members K and Marco became contestants on the Chinese reality survial show Youth With You 2. Only K made it to the final line-up and debuted with the project girl group THE9.[2]
