Euna Kim (유나킴) is a Korean-American rapper currently under Maroo Entertainment. She is a former member of the girl duo KHAN and of the girl group The Ark.

She was a former contestant on reality competition shows Superstar K3, Unpretty Rapstar 3 and The Unit.

Career

She was a contestant in the singing competition show Superstar K3 before signing with YG Entertainment as a trainee in 2011.[citation needed] She left YG sometime in 2013 to pursue studies in the United States.[citation needed]

She then joined Music K Entertainment and debuted as Yuna (유나) in the girl group The Ark on April 10, 2015 with the single "Somebody 4 Life". However, the girl group was short lived and never released any further music. They disbanded approximately a year after debut.[1]

Following her group's disbandment, she participated in the female rap survival show Unpretty Rapstar 3 but did not make it into the quarter finals and was eliminated in episode 8.[citation needed]

In October 2017, Yuna along with former The Ark member Halla joined the idol rebooting show, The Unit. Yuna ranked 10th in the final episode and hence was eliminated as she did not reach the top 9 ranks to debut.[citation needed]

On April 11, 2018, Yuna along with former The Ark member Jeon Minju formed the girl duo KHAN under Maroo Entertainment. The duo covered eight popular songs before releasing their debut digital single titled "I'm Your Girl?" on May 23, 2018.[2]

Since summer 2019, Euna Kim moved to the USA, where she got baptized[3]. As of December 2019, she seems to have left the Korean entertainment industry, now being a full-time Christian missionary with Souls West ministry in Arizona[4].
