eite (에이트) is a girl group under EVA Entertainment. They made their debut on November 2, 2023 with the single album "Independent Woman".
History[]
2023: Pre-debut, Season 1 debut with "Independent Woman"[]
On September 30, 2023, EVA Entertainment posted a 'Coming Soon' teaser to their official Instagram account, hinting at a new artist.[2] Later that same day, another teaser revealed that their new girl group would be called eite.[3]
On October 1, the group's first member, Yujin, was introduced,[4] followed by Yuisa on October 2,[5] Sia on October 3,[6] Chaehyun on October 4,[7] Rena on October 5,[8] Ari on October 6,[9] and Reo on October 7.[10]
On November 2, 2023, eite officially made their debut with the digital single album "Independent Woman".
2024: Season 1's ending[]
On August 18, 2024, EVA Entertainment announced that eite Season 1 had ended and all of the original members had terminated their contract with the agency and departed from the group. They also announced that a new lineup would be recruited for eite Season 2.[11]
