Dreamscape (stylized in all-caps) is the fourth full-length album by NCT DREAM. It was released on November 11, 2024 with "When I'm With You" serving as the album's title track.

The physical album comes in 18 versions: Dreamscape, Construct, Real City, Dreamini, seven individual Vertical Flip versions, and seven individual SMini versions. Two additional versions of the Real City album were made exclusively for Target and Walmart.

On August 8, 2024, it was confirmed that NCT DREAM is scheduled to release their fourth full-length album in the fourth quarter of 2024.^[1]

On October 21, NCT DREAM announced the full-length album Dreamscape, scheduled for November 11.^[2]

Composition[]

"Intro : Dreamscape" is described as a hyper-pop song that captures the excitement of escaping from dark reality and facing the dream-like landscapes of 'Dreamscape'.^[3]

"When I'm With You" is a house-based electronic pop song with an easy and catchy chorus. The lyrics romantically express the complex feelings I feel when I am with you and the way I fall in love with you when I meet you in the world of my dreams, 'Dreamscape'.^[4]

"Flying Kiss" is described as a pop song with a sense of scale that blends rock and afro elements, and the chorus is impressive as it pours out love confession without a chance to breathe.^[3]

"I Hate Fruits" is a pop song with an easy and catchy chorus and unique vocal sound.^[3]

"No Escape" is described a pop song with an intense yet minimal mood created by the distorted 808 sound. The lyrics talks about thinking one had completely escaped the dark reality where every situation was a lie, however it is impossible to escape this nightmarish reality.^[5]

"Best of Me" is a dance pop song influenced by 80s pop sounds. It expresses a paradoxical situation where you struggle to not be deceived by false worlds tempting you, but eventually getting your heart stolen.^[5]

"You" is a described as a R&B pop genre song with a faint arpeggio synth sound. The lyrics contain the firm determination to not lose faith in 'you' and definitely find 'you' despite repeated failures throughout the journey to find the true 'Dreamscape'.^[5]

"Heavenly" is a synth-pop song based on the 80s sounds, mixed with a hopeful melody to evoke overwhelming emotions. The lyrics compare the freedom and joy felt by NCT DREAM, who have finally found their true 'Dreamscape' after going through difficult times, to the 'dream of flying' that everyone has had at least once when they were young.^[6]

"Night Poem" is described as an uptempo R&B pop song with a lyrical and catchy synth riff. The lyrics depict the feelings of two people falling deeper into each other like a youth movie as the night deepens.^[6]

"Off The Wall" is an energetic pop song that mixes disco, funk, and hip-hop. It conveys the message of letting go and having fun.^[6]
