Notes[]
- ↑ Originally believed to be a native of Mokpo, it has recently been revealed that he is a native of Cheonggye-myeon, a small town located in Muan County (or Muan-gun), the capital city of Jeollanam-do. According to him, what happens is that Cheonggye is not very well known even by Koreans themselves (Cheonggye is so unknown that you can only find photos of the exact location on Google Images if you search for its Korean name of the place, which in this case is 청계면) and because of that, he ended up putting Mokpo as his birthplace because it is the most famous landmark in the province where he was born, Jeollanam-do.
