Dong Woo Seok (동우석), formerly known as King (킹) and also known as Dingo (딩고), is a South Korean singer-songwriter and producer. He is a former member of the boy group LC9 and indie bands Circus Crazy and FROMMARS.
He is also best known for finishing in the Top 7 on the reality talent show Superstar K 2016.
Career[]
2013–2015: LC9[]
On May 9, 2013, Woo Seok, under the stage name King, debuted as a member of the boy group LC9 with their first mini album Skirmish. On January 23, 2016, their agency, Nega Network, announced that the group had disbanded after their contracts ended on December 21, 2015.[1]
2016–2017: Circus Crazy, Superstar K 2016[]
On August 16, 2016, Woo Seok, now under the stage name Dingo, debuted as a member of the indie boy band Circus Crazy with their first self-titled single.
From September 22 to November 24, 2016, he participated in Mnet's reality talent show Superstar K 2016 but was eliminated in episode 10 and finished in the Top 7.
Woo Seok left Circus Crazy prior to the release of their second single "Romantic Drama" on June 7, 2017.[2]
2019–2020: FROMMARS[]
On May 10, 2019, Dingo debuted as a member of the indie boy band FROMMARS with their first single "Miracle: A Piece Of Dream." The band presumably disbanded due to inactivity following the release of their third single in December 2020.
