Dong Woo (동우) is a South Korean rapper, singer and actor under INFINITE Company. He is a member of the boy group INFINITE and a former member its subunit INFINITE H.
As a soloist, he goes by his full name Jang Dong Woo. He made his solo debut on March 4, 2019 with his first mini album Bye.
Career[]
2010: Debut with INFINITE[]
On June 9, 2010, Dong Woo debuted as a member of INFINITE with the mini album First Invasion.
2019: Solo debut[]
On March 4, 2019, he made solo debut with the mini album Bye.
2021: Departure from Woollim Entertainment, new agency[]
On March 31, 2021, Woollim Entertainment announced that Dong Woo and Sung Yeol has left the agency following the expiration of their contract.[2]
On October 1, 2021, Dong Woo signed an exclusive contract with Big Boss Entertainment.[3]
2022: New agency[]
On August 23, 2022, Big Boss Entertainment announced that Dong Woo has left the agency following the expiration of their contract.[4]
In September 2022, Dong Woo signed an exclusive contract with Hi-Hat Entertainment. He later left the agency and transferred to INFINITE Company, created by member Kim Sung Kyu.

Military service[]
Dong Woo enlisted in the military on April 15, 2019 originally as a police officer.[5] He did not pass and he instead enlisted as an active duty soldier. He was officially discharged on November 15, 2020 with SHINee's Minho.[6]
