Dong Myeong (동명) is a South Korean singer-songwriter, musician and musical actor under RBW. He is the keyboardist of the boy band ONEWE.
Career[]
2015-2016: M.A.S 0094 formation and debut[]
Dong Myeong is the fourth of five members to join the self-formed band M.A.S 0094, now known as ONEWE.
Dong Myeong was invited by his neighbour Giuk to join the band as a vocalist. The band then met and recruited their final member Yong Hoon with a cup of coffee at a singer-songwriter contest in May 2015.[1]
Now complete as five members, the band chose the name M.A.S 0094 to mean "Make A Sound" plus the birth years of their youngest (2000) and eldest (1994) members.
From May of 2015, M.A.S 0094 began busking together on the streets of Hongdae.
He released his first single with M.A.S 0094 on August 13, 2015, "Butterfly, Find a Flower", and made his official debut with the band on August 2, 2016 on SBS MTV's The Show.
2017-2018: Produce 101 Season 2, MAS and The Unit[]
Dongmyeong participated on Produce 101 Season 2 as a contestant representing RBW. He was eliminated in the 5th episode placing 68th.
On April 1, 2017, Dong Myeong with his band M.A.S 0094 signed an exclusive artist contract with RBW and the band's name was shortened to MAS.
In October of the same year, Dong Myeong auditioned alongside MAS for the survival show The Unit. He made it to the finale where he was eliminated in 16th place.
In June of 2018, his band's name was changed again from MAS to ONEWE.
2019: Re-debut as ONEWE[]
He made his re-debut with ONEWE under RBW on May 13, 2019 with the digital single album "1/4".
2023-2024: Musical theatre endeavors[]
On March 21, 2023, Dong Myeong was confirmed to be a part of the cast for the musical Dream High, where he would play the role of Donghwi.[2] He made his musical theatre acting debut in Dream High on May 13, 2023, with a performance run until the final show on July 23.
On August 14, 2023, Dong Myeong was announced to be playing in the lead role of Galileo for the musical We Will Rock You, set to run from September 22 to December 31, 2023.[3]
On February 2, 2024, Dong Myeong was announced to be playing in the role of Kim Yoon for the play Age of Loss, set to run from February 20 to 25.[4]

On September 2, 2024, RBW released a statement that Dong Myeong had suffered microfractures to the index and little fingers of his right hand due to a minor accident during his personal schedule. He was advised to refrain from using his fingers as much as possible and will be wearing finger splints while carrying out his schedule.[5]
