2018–2019: YG Treasure Box[]

In November 2018, Gil Do Hwan was introduced as a contestant in the reality show YG Treasure Box in Group B.^[1] Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the second to last episode, which aired on January 11, 2019.^[2]

2020–2023: Ciipher[]

On December 10, 2020, he was revealed as a member of the boy group Ciipher, scheduled to debut in early 2021.^[3]^[4] His profile picture was released on December 21.^[5] The group debuted on March 15, 2021 with their first mini album I Like You.

On August 9, 2023, Rain Company announced that he, along with Tan, TAG and Won have decided to leave the group.^[6]
