He is also known for being a contestant on the survival shows Wild Idol and Starlight Boys.
Career[]
2020: Debut with BAE173[]
On September 9, 2020, Doha was introduced as the third member of the pre-debut group POCKETDOLZ.[1] On September 25, the group's name was revealed to be BAE173. The group officially debuted on November 19 with their first mini album Intersection : Spark.
2021: Wild Idol[]
On August 10, 2021, he was introduced as the 12th contestant of the survival show Wild Idol.[2] He was eliminated in the third episode.[3]
2024: Starlight Boys[]
On September 29, 2024, Doha was introduced as a contestant on the Chinese-South Korean survival show Starlight Boys.[4] Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the tenth and final episode, thus being unable to debut with POLARIX.[5]
2025: Debut with Double 0ne, lawsuit against PocketDol Studio[]
On January 17, 2025, PocketDol Studio revealed that BAE173, including Doha, will be collaborating with FANTASY BOYS for a release sometime in March or April. They made their debut as Double 0ne on June 12 with the mini album Xpert.[6]
On November 6, it was revealed that Doha filed a lawsuit against PocketDol Studio on October 22 to suspend his exclusive contract, citing issues with payments, the agency's deteriorating financial situation, unilateral suspension of his activities, and a breakdown of trust. He previously sent a termination notice on October 17. The first hearing for the injunction is scheduled for November 17.[7] PocketDol Studio denied all claims, stating that the suspention of his activities is the result of his bad behavior including an insincere attitude on Starlight Boys, leaving events without prior notice, using profanity in front of fans, and disrespectful behavior toward staff.[8]
