Deep (휩) is the first mini album by HYO. It was released on May 16, 2022 with "Deep" serving as the album's title track.
The physical album comes in two versions: Illusion and Poison.
Background[]
On the midnight of May 1, 2022, a teaser image was posted on Girls' Generation's SNS accounts.[1] On May 2, another teaser image was released, announcing that HYO would be releasing her first mini album titled Deep on the 16th.[2] SM Entertainment later revealed the mini album would contain a total of seven songs in the electronic genre including the title track "Deep", new songs, and previously-released songs.[3]
Composition[]
"Deep" is described as EDM dance song. In the song you'll hear the combination of a dynamic bass line, a sharp clap sound, and a electronic sound. The chorus is said to be impressive and addicting as it uses the prefix 'whip'.[4]
