Dayul (다율), formerly known as Dabin (다빈), is a South Korean singer. She is a member of DAHLIA and a former member of Crescendo and Baby Boo.

She is also known for being a contestant on the survival show The Unit.

Career[]

2016–2018: Baby Boo, The Unit, Crescendo, DAONBIN[]

In May 2016, Dayul made her debut in Baby Boo with the group's third digital single "Kiss Me".

In 2017, Dayul became a contestant on the survival show, The Unit. She was eliminated in episode 7, ending in 48th place.[1]

On July 17, 2018, together with Daon, they announced their departures from Hyunda Company and that they will be reforming as a duo under the name DAONBIN (which later became YULiONi and DAHLIA).[2]

2019-2020: YULiONi, Crescendo, Ambassador for Hanam City[]

In April 2019, she announced that DAONBIN will rebrand as YULiONi, as well as the addition of Hajin and Roori to the group through her personal Instagram.[3]

Sometime in 2019, Dayul left YULiONi to become a member of the pre-debut girl group Crescendo. Crescendo was originally scheduled to debut in mid 2020, however their debut has been delayed. Dayul ended up leaving in 2020 due to an ongoing lawsuit against her former label, Hyunda Company, citing neglect and sexual harassment.[4]

On July 26, 2019, Dayul was appointed as a promotional ambassador for Hanam City along with musical actor Lee Geon-Myung.[5]

2022: DAHLIA[]

In 2022, she announced the reformation of YULiONi as DAHLIA. On March 31, 2022, she debuted as a member of DAHLIA with the digital single "Spotlight".
