Daya (다야) is a South Korean actress, model and singer. She is a former member of the girl groups A.KOR and 84LY.
Career[]
2012–2013: 84LY[]
Daya first debuted as a member of 84LY on September 29, 2012 with the group's first and only mini album Girls Secret Party.
The group disbanded in the start of 2014 due to inactivity caused by internal conflicts with their management label, Show M Entertainment.
2014–2017: A.KOR[]
On August 28, 2014, Daya, alongside fellow 84LY member Taehee, were revealed as the newest members of A.KOR.[1] They officially debuted as members of the group on September 5 with the digital single "But Go".
She unofficially left the group in December 2015.[citation needed]
2021: Interview with Current status Olympics[]
On October 14, 2021, an interview featuring Daya was released, in which she introduced herself and discussed her acting background prior to joining both groups. She also shared insights into her current life and future aspirations.[2]
