Dann (단; formerly known as Seungbo (승보)) is a South Korean singer-songwriter under GF Entertainment. He is the leader of the boy group The KingDom and a former member of the boy group VARSITY.
Early life[]
Dann moved to Dubai when he was ten-years-old.[1] While working as an English translator at K-CON in 2016, Dann was scouted by CSO Entertainment.[2]
Career[]
2016–2020: VARSITY, MIXNINE[]
On December 20, 2016 Dann, at the time promoting under his birth name Seungbo, was unveiled as a VARSITY member in the second round of debut teasers.[3] He officially made his debut with the group on January 9, 2017 with the single "Round One".
In 2017, VARSITY also auditioned to be on MIXNINE. Dann made it through the auditions and was eliminated in episode 7 after ranking 131st place (among all contestants) / 71st place (among male contestants only)
On September 7, 2018 VARSITY announced they would be splitting the group in two. The Chinese members were going to promote in China under a new name while the Korean members would continue using the name VARSITY.[4] VARSITY officially disbanded on April 23, 2020.
2020–present: KINGDOM and radio host[]
On January 21, 2020 Dann was formally introduced as a member of KINGDOM.[5] The group officially debuted on February 18, 2021 with their mini album History of Kingdom : PartⅠ. Arthur.
On June 12, 2022, it was announced that Dann would be a new Radio’n Us host that will be hosting a weekly segment called "DANNiVIEW" on Monday's. His first broadcast was then June 13[6][7]

- He is fluent in Korean, English and French, and can speak a little bit of Arabic.[1] He is trying to learn Chinese.[9]
