Dam (담), formerly known as Tae Young (태영), is a South Korean singer, dancer, and lyricist under J-Star Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group AWIN and a former member of the boy groups BLACK6IX and I-REX.

Career[]

2013: I-REX[]

He first debuted in 2013, under the stage name Hwan, in the boy group I-REX under Tarzan Entertainment. The group released their only single album, "Rush To The Top", before disbanding sometime in the following year.

2017–2021: BLACK6IX[]

After 4 years, he changed his stage name to Tae Young and debuted with the boy group BLACK6IX on April 7, 2017 with the release of their first single "Please".

They officially disbanded on April 16, 2021.^[1]

2023–2025: Debut with AWIN[]

On December 29, 2023, he was introduced as a member of the upcoming boy group AWIN (then known as TRY) under the stage name Dam.^[2] The group made their debut on February 16, 2025, with the digital single "Hashtag(#Cheese)".
