Daigo (다이고) is a Japanese singer, dancer and trainee under SM Entertainment. He is a member of the SMROOKIES trainee team SMTR25 and a former member of the boy group TO1.
Career[]
2021: Produce 101 Japan Season 2[]
In 2021, Daigo participated in the GyaO! reality show Produce 101 Japan Season 2 with his full name Kobayashi Daigo. Unfortunately, he was was eliminated in the final episode with his final rank being 13th.[1]
2022: Debut with TO1[]
On June 17, 2022, following the departures of Min Su, Jerome, and Woong Gi, it was announced that Daigo, along with Renta and Yeo Jeong would be joining TO1 with the comeback set for July.[2] He debuted on July 28 with the group's third mini album Why Not??.
2023: Departure from WAKEONE[]
On December 17, 2023, WAKEONE announced that all members of TO1 chose not to renew their contracts with the agency. Their contracts ended on December 31.[3]
2025-present: SM Entertainment[]
On January 11, 2025, Daigo performed as part of SMROOKIES's trainee team SMTR25 during the SMTOWN Live 2025 Tour, which confirmed his trainee status with SM Entertainment.[4]
