DSP Media (디에스피미디어) is a South Korean record label and entertainment agency under RBW.
History[]
The company was founded in 1991 as Daesung Planning (대성기획) before changing its name to DSP Entertainment (DSP엔터테인먼트) in 1999. In 2006, it merged with Hoshin Textile Co., Ltd. and was renamed simply as DSP Enti. The company changed to its current name in 2008.
On January 26, 2022, RBW completed a sales and purchase agreement with DSP Media's largest shareholder, acquiring 39.1 percent of the company's shares.[1]
On December 14, 2022, it was announced that Good Fellas Entertainment (굿펠라스엔터테인먼트) has merged with DSP Media on December 1, with DSP Media as the surviving company and Good Fellas Entertainment as the defunct company. Following the merger, the CEO of Good Fellas, Min Myung-ki has been appointed as an executive producer for DSP Media, and all artists under Good Fellas Entertainment would be joining DSP Media.[2]
