DAILY (데일리) was a pre-debut girl group under Sol Entertainment. Their debut was originally planned for either late 2020 or early 2021. However by January 2021, all members had left the lineup and the agency deleted all of DAILY's SNS accounts, suggesting their debut had been cancelled.
History[]
Pre-debut[]
In early 2020, they revealed the first member Roa. However, she left the group and agency within a few months.
In late 2020, Nalin left the group due to unknown reasons.
On November 22, they revealed two new members, Sia and Chaemin, set to debut as the leader, main dancer and all-rounder of the group sometime in 2021.[1]
On December 9, they revealed a new member, Sieun.[2]
However by January 2021, all members had left the lineup and the agency deleted all of DAILY's SNS accounts, suggesting their debut had been cancelled.
Aftermath[]
Following the disbandment of DAILY, the members went their separate ways:
- On January 7, 2021, Myolin was introduced as one of the four new members of the girl group HOLICS under LPA Entertainment.[3]
- On February 25, 2021, Sia was introduced as a trainee under NES Entertainment and had joined their trainee group, NES GIRLS.[4]
- On March 8, 2021, Chaemin was also introduced as a trainee of NES Entertainment and NES GIRLS under the stage name Yeony.[5]
- Sometime in early 2022, Roa joined GBK Entertainment and became a trainee on their online training platform Universe. On November 29, 2022, she was revealed as one of the five selected members of GBK's upcoming girl group MEP-C. However, in early 2023, she presumably left the group after the deletion of her profile post. On March 4, 2023, she was officially revealed as the first member of the upcoming girl group X:IN.[6] She debuted with the group on April 11, 2023 with their first digital single "Keeping the Fire" but eventually left the group by July 8.[7]
The circumstances of the other members are still unknown.
