On September 7, 2023, it was revealed that C-JeS Entertainment would be debuting an eight-member group in November,^[1] later revealed to be named WHIB.^[2] They will make their debut on November 8.^[3] On October 13, a scheduler was released, revealing that the group would debut with the single album "Cut-Out".^[4]
