(사랑의 큐피드! 안녕하세요, 큐피드입니다!)

—Cupid

Cupid (큐피트) was a girl group under Narda Entertainment. Originally formed by IN Entertainment, they debuted on April 29, 2015 with the digital single "I Feel Good".

The group presumably disbanded in 2019.

History[]

2015–2016: Debut with "I Feel Good"[]

On April 29, 2015, IN Entertainment debuted their first girl group, Cupid, consisting of Bona, Sarang, Nanayuri and Jenna, with the digital single "I Feel Good".

2016: Lineup changes, agency change, "Summer Time" & "Merry Christmas"[]

In February 2016, Sarang appeared to be missing and was replaced by new member Yera.[1][2]

On March 17, Sarang officially announced her departure from Cupid.[3] Shortly after this, Yera also left the group and was replaced by Amin.[4]

In April, Nanayuri left the group to start anew as a DJ and Pureum was recruited.[5]

In July, Cupid moved to Narda Entertainment, with Jenna and Pureum leaving the group, Amin staying with IN Entertainment and later joined their new girl group Fantastie. Nanayuri also rejoined Cupid after their move and the group made their first comeback with the digital single "Summer Time" on August 8, in collaboration with Rion Five.[6]

Near the end of 2016, new members Seolyi and Dohee joined Cupid and the group released a holiday single titled "Merry Christmas" on December 16, featuring classic Christmas song covers.[7]

2017: Seolyi's departure, addition of Hyemi, Nanayuri's departure, MIXNINE, Dohee's departure[]

Seolyi silently left Cupid in early 2017 and, around April, Cupid revealed their new member Hyemi.[n 1][citation needed]

In August, Nanayuri left the group for the second time.[citation needed] Meanwhile, Cupid continued as a trio, with a fancam of Bona dancing to Sunmi's "Gashina" in October gaining moderate attention in South Korea.[8]

In October, the members tried out for MIXNINE but weren't picked. However, a clip of Dohee's interview made it onto the show.

In December, Dohee revealed her departure from the group to a fan.[citation needed]

2018: "Bada"[]

On July 25, Cupid made their first comeback in nearly two years as a duo with the digital single "Bada", which is a collaboration with Chic Angel and Soo Kyung.[9] Cupid also opened an official YouTube account when the music video was released.[n 2]

2019: Disbandment[]

In February, Bona was confirmed to have left Cupid to start anew as a streamer and model.[10]

Later that summer, Bona replied to a fan in her Instagram story saying "Thank you for remembering Cupid", which led fans to ask about Cupid's status. She later confirmed Cupid had disbanded.[citation needed]
