Cocoro (Korean: 코코로; Japanese: ココロ), alternatively spelled as Kokoro, also known by her full name Kato Cocoro[1] (加藤心), is a Japanese singer under LAPONE Entertainment. She is a member of the Japanese girl group ME:I and a former member of Cherry Bullet.
She is known for being a contestant on the Japanese reality survival show Produce 101 Japan The Girls.
Career[]
2018–2019: Cherry Bullet[]
On November 22, 2018, she was revealed as the eighth member of Cherry Bullet.[3] The group officially debuted on January 21, 2019 with their first single album "Let's Play Cherry Bullet".
On December 13, 2019, it was announced that she, along with Mi Rae and Lin Lin, would be leaving the group after deciding to terminate their contracts with FNC Entertainment.[4]
2023: Produce 101 Japan The Girls[]
On September 2, 2023, the theme song for Produce 101 Japan The Girls was released, revealing that she would participate in the show.[2][5] The first episode aired on October 5, 2023. In episode 11, she ranked 11th making her a member of ME:I.
