Choim (초임) is a South Korean singer, model and TV personality currently under Starit Entertainment. She is one half of the cancelled female duo CAMILA X and a former member of the girls groups LAYSHA and CAMILA, the latter of which she also founded and managed.
She made her solo debut on August 21, 2019 with the single "Romeo".
Career[]
2015: LAYSHA[]
In 2015 she was added to the girl group LAYSHA, to replace former member Seulgi. She left the group the same year, before she could make her official debut with the group.
2018-2019: CAMILA & Solo debut[]
On August 29, 2018 she made her debut as the leader of the girl group CAMILA with the digital single "Red Lips".
On July 22, 2019, Choim announced that CAMILA had disbanded.[1]
On August 21, 2018 she made her solo debut with the digital single "Romeo".
2020–2021: Miss Trot 2[]
In December 2020, Choim appeared as a contestant in TV Chosun's reality trot survival show Miss Trot 2. She was eventually eliminated during the fourth round of eliminations.
2021-2022: CAMILA X[]
On September 9, 2021, it was announced through Instagram that CAMILA would be coming back as a duo called CAMILA X consisting of Choim and Yubeen.[2]
Nothing has been heard of the project since May 2022.
