Choi Jung Hoon (최정훈) is a South Korean singer under Groobenter. He is a former member of the co-ed group F1RST, and the boy groups FameUs and AxisB.

He made his debut as a soloist on March 15, 2022 with the digital single "고속도로".

He is also known for being a former Mr. Trot and Burning Trotman contestant.

Career[]

2010-2013: F1RST[]

On August 27, 2010, he debuted as a member of F1RST with the release of their first self-titled digital single "F1RST".

The group presumably disbanded in 2013.

2014-2017: FameUs, AxisB[]

On September 4, 2014, he debuted as a member of FameUs with the digital single "Crazy".

The group presumably disbanded sometime in 2016 and he went on to debut as a member of AxisB with the digital single "Curious" on September 28 of the same year.

The group presumably disbanded in 2017.

2020: Mr. Trot[]

In 2020, he participated in the trot survival show Mr. Trot. He made it to the top 30 before getting eliminated at #22 place overall.^[1]

2022: Solo debut with "고속도로" and Burning Trotman[]

On March 15, 2022, he made his debut as a trot soloist with the digital single "고속도로".^[2]

In December, he participated in the trot survival show Burning Trotman.^[3] He was later eliminated on the third round.^[4]

Personal life[]

Military service[]

In August 2018, it was announced that he would be enlisting in the military for his mandatory military service.^[5] He was later discharged on February 14, 2020.^[2] He initially thought about quitting music after his military service but decided to try out for Mr. Trot after his father suggested that he try it out.^[6]
