Choi Jiann (최지안) is a South Korean singer under J-FLO Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group Newkidd and its sub-unit Newkidd02.

Career[]

2017: Produce 101 Season 2[]

In 2017, Jiann, then known as Choi Jae Woo, was a contestant on the survival program Produce 101 Season 2 representing RBW. He was eliminated in the fifth episode where his final rank was 97th place.

2018: Newkidd02[]

On July 11, Jiann was introduced to be one of the two newest members of Newkidd through the sub-unit Newkidd02.[1] They released the preview single album "Boy Boy Boy" on July 25, 2018.[2]

2019–present: Newkidd[]

On April 18, 2019, Newkidd finally released news of their official debut along with individual teasers.[3] Jiann then officially made his debut with the group on April 25.[4]
