Choi Han Bit (최한빛), also known simply as Hanbit, is a South Korean model and retired actress, singer. She is a former member of the girl group Mercury.

She is also known for being a contestant on the modeling competition shows Super Model Contest and Korea's Next Top Model Season 3.

Career[]

2005-2014: Early career[]

In 2009, she participated in the SBS's Super Model Contest, becoming the first transgender person to pass the preliminaries and advance to the finals.[1]

In 2012, she participated in Korea's Next Top Model Season 3 and finished at 10th place.[2]

2015: Solo debut with "Not My Style"[]

On June 9, 2015, she made her solo debut with the digital single "Not My Style".

2016: Mercury[]

On March 7, 2016, she debuted as a member of Mercury with their first digital single "Don't Stop".

The group released one more single in 2016, then presumably disbanded that same year due to inactivity.
