Cherry (체리) is a South Korean singer. They are a former member of the boy group JWiiver and pre-debut member of the survival group BOYS24.

They are also known for being a contestant on the survival show BOYS24.

2016–2017: BOYS24[]

In 2016, Cherry became a contestant on the survival show BOYS24, under their birth name Chae Ho-cheol. They were eliminated once but were revived by the judges vote, before being ultimately eliminated.

2020–2024: JTG Boys and JWiiver[]

On February 8, 2022, Cherry was re-introduced as a member of JWiiver under the stage name Ryujei.^[1] They made their debut on February 17 with the mini album Jtrap.

Personal life[]

On February 18, 2024, Cherry announced that they use he/him, she/her or any pronouns and to simply call them "Cherry", which is short for Chae Ryujin.^[2]
