Cheatcode (치트코드), also stylized as CHEATCODE, was a four-member live girl group under à la mode. They made their live debut on October 10, 2021 with a performance at the I cheatcode YOU event at the DGT Art Centre in Seoul, South Korea.[1]

The group disbanded on January 16, 2022 following their final live event.

History[]

2021–2022: Debut and disbandment[]

Underground idol agency, à la mode opened a Twitter account for their latest upcoming artist, Cheatcode, sometime in August 2021, and later revealed their debut members Rookie and Yenxi in September.[2][3]

On September 19, they revealed that they will make a live debut on October 10, 2021 at the I cheatcode YOU event, set in the DGT Art Centre in Seoul, South Korea.[1]

Later on November 13, Cheatcode revealed that two new members have been added to turn the group into a four-member girl group.[4] The new members were revealed the following day to be Mono and Mio.[5][6]

On December 11, 2021, Cheatcode announced that due to differences of opinion in the direction of the group, they would be ending activities following their live on January 16, 2022 and likeminded members would be moving forward in their own direction.[7]
