Chaeyoung (Korean: 챼영; Japanese: チェヨン) is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter and designer under JYP Entertainment. She is the main rapper of the girl group TWICE.
Career
2015: SIXTEEN, TWICE
On May 5, 2015, she became a contestant on JYP's newest survival show, SIXTEEN. She finished the survival in 7th place, hence becoming a member of the girl group TWICE.[1] They officially debuted on October 20, 2015 with their first mini album, The Story Begins.

- Her name, 'Chaeyoung', means 'variegated colors' and 'crystal', or 'flower', in Korean.
- During TWICE's Elegant Private Life, she revealed to have a rare B- blood type.[3]
- As a designer, her most known works are the covers for Page Two's limited editions, Sana's V Live Melody Project posters and SPRIS Taro limited edition shoes.[citation needed]
- She has a younger brother, named Jeong Hun, who is an aspiring model.[4]
- She likes eating healthy like fruits and veggies, she doesn't like sweets. She says this is because she grew up with her grandmother when she was young.[citation needed]
