Chaeeun (채은), formerly known as Chaeni (채니) is a South Korean singer. She is a former member of the cancelled girl group Birthday and the girl group YJIG.
Career[]
2018–2021: YJIG and Birthday[]
On September 5, 2018, Chaeeun, then known as Chaeni, officially debuted as a member of YJIG with the release of the group's first digital single "Prince". Unfortunately, the group disbanded on May 17, 2019 without ever having any comebacks.
Sometime in 2019, Chaeeun became a member of the pre-debut girl group Crescendo. Over time, Crescendo's debut was delayed and by June 2021, Crescendo changed their group name into Birthday. Despite the changes, their debut never materialized and after a year with no updates, it is assumed that they disbanded.
