ChRocktikal (크록티칼; shortened as CRTK) is an upcoming four-member co-ed band under Dreamcatcher Company. They will debut on January 15, 2026 with the full-length album We Break, You Awake.
Their group name is a combination of the words chrome, rock and kal (칼). Chrome represents a metallic and bold vibe, rock represents the genre they want to pursue and kal originates from the Korean word of sword.[1]
History[]
Pre-debut[]
On March 10, 2025, Dreamcatcher Company revealed that Dreamcatcher member Siyeon would be pursuing band activities.[2]
On July 31, an account crcktkl opened on Instagram with a post featuring Siyeon and three other people.[3] She later shared this account on her Instagram story and added it to her Instagram bio, confirming it as her band project.[4][5] For months, the account would share hints and teasers regarding the band.
On December 15, crcktkl revealed their logo and their full band name to be ChRocktikal through the opening of their official SNS accounts. The following day, the band officially introduced their first member to be bassist Lee Jun Young,[6] followed by drummer Je Gwan Woo on December 17[7], guitarist and producer Lee Won Seok on December 18[8] and vocalist and producer Lee Si Yeon on December 19.[9]
2026: Debut with We Break, You Awake[]
On December 25, 2025, ChRocktikal announced that they will make their debut with their first full-length album We Break, You Awake on January 15, 2026. [10]
