CJ Music (CJ뮤직) was a South Korean entertainment company under CJ E&M Group. It was founded in March 2000 with the aim to become "Asia's No.1 Total Music Business Company."[1] In April 2004, CJ Medialine merged into the company.

On February 5, 2007, Mnet Media announced that they would merge with CJ Music.[2] The merger was approved on April 16, 2007 during their general shareholders meeting and completed in May 2007.[3][4]
