C'SA (씨샤), also known by her former stage name Shin Sia (신시아), is a South Korean singer-songwriter and producer.
She is also known for being a contestant on the competitive reality television shows Finding Momoland and Idol School.
Career[]
2016–2020: Finding Momoland and Idol School[]
In July 2016, Shin Sia was one of ten contestants on the competitive reality show Finding Momoland, a survival program for trainees of Duble Kick Company to compete for the top 7 places to earn a place to debut in their upcoming girl group, Momoland. Shin Sia was eventually eliminated with her final rank being 9th place.[citation needed]
In July 2017, Shin Sia's departure from Duble Kick Company was confirmed when she appeared as an contestant in another reality competitive reality show, Idol School. However, Shin Sia was eliminated from competition in Episode 11 of Idol School with her final rank being 19th place.
Some months after Idol School, Shin Sia joined A team Entertainment as a trainee. However, by May 2020, it is known that she had left A team Entertainment and joined The Groove Company as a trainee. Despite moving companies, she did not remain with The Groove Company for long and the agency eventually deleted her profile, confirming she is no longer a trainee under them.[1]
2021–present: Producer beginnings[]
In 2021, Shin Sia rebranded as C'SA and decided to focus on her career as a producer for K-pop. Her first professional work as a producer was for Weki Meki for whom she produced the song "Who Am I", released in their album I Am Me. on November 18, 2021.[2] Since then, she has been successful as a producer and had produced songs for numerous popular K-pop groups and singers.
On November 26, 2022, C'SA released the song "Tasty", which was exclusively uploaded on only her SoundCloud and YouTube.[3][4]
