Bubble (버블) was a four-member girl group under Rainbow E&M. Originally as seven, they debuted on August 12, 2022 with the digital single "Baby Dream."

They are the 17th group created under the Future Idol Asia project.[1]

History[]

Predebut[]

In 2020, Rainbow Company (later known as Rainbow E&M) created Future Idol, an idol development project for the purpose of debuting various project idol groups throughout 2021 through its project, known as 'Future Idol Asia'. On June 25, 2021, Future Idol Asia introduced Bubble and its members through their YouTube, FutureIdolTV.[2][3]

While pre-debut, Bubble was one of several teen idol groups who performed a showcase at YES24 Live Hall on May 23, 2021 as part of the 'Future Idol Debut Project' event.[4]

In the second Future Idol showcase, it was shown that eight pre-debut members had departed from the group, and five had joined the group.[citation needed]

2022: Debut[]

They finally made their debut on August 12, 2022 with the digital single "Baby Dream".

2023: "Utopia"[]

On January 20, Bubble released a teaser for their upcoming comeback "Utopia" as 4 members, which was set to be released on January 27, silently confirming the departures of members Surin, Hyeonhwa, and Dayeon.[5]
