Career[]
2019-2023: LAYSHA[]
On August 9, 2019, Boreum was officially announced as the new members of the group.[1] She later made her debut in the group on December 20 with their fifth digital single "Freedom".
On March 29, 2023, it was announced that Boreum had left LAYSHA due to health issues.[2] Following this, the group temporarily continued its activities with three members.
Trivia[]
- During her time in the group, she was the only member of her lineup who was not born in Seoul, as she hails from Busan, the second largest city in South Korea.
- She was also the only member of her lineup who had not previously been part of any group prior to becoming a member of LAYSHA (since Goeun and Chaejin are former members of LXIA, while Sia is a former member of GIRL CRUSH).
- During the group's tour in China, she temporarily changed her stage name to Haru due to the difficulty of pronouncing and writing Boreum in Mandarin.[3]
