Bobby (바비) is a South Korean rapper under 143 Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group iKON and a former member of the sub-unit MOBB.
He made his solo debut on September 7, 2016 with the digital single "Holup!".
Career[]
2022: Change of agency[]
On November 15, 2022, it was reported that Bobby would not be renewing his contract with YG Entertainment. However, the agency said that his contract with them has not expired yet.[2]
On December 30, YG Entertainment announced that iKON would be leaving the agency after deciding not to renew their contracts. However the members would still continue to promote as a group together.[3] The group later signed with 143 Entertainment.[4]
2023: "S.i.R", Robert[]
On March 2, 2023, it was announced that Bobby will be releasing his first single album "S.i.R" on March 21.[5]
On September 13, 143 Entertainment announced that Bobby will be having a comeback on October 10 with the mini album Robert.[6]
2024: Sir. Robert[]
On February 19, 2024, Bobby revealed a visual film for his third full-length album Sir. Robert, which is set to release on February 28.[7]

On August 20, 2021, Bobby announced on his Instagram his marriage to his non-celebrity girlfriend who is also expecting a baby. The couple will be welcoming their first child in September.[8] On September 27, 2021, YG Entertainment revealed that Bobby's fiancée recently gave birth to a baby boy.[9]

On April 6, 2024, 143 Entertainment announced that Bobby would be enlisting on May 21.[10] However, on April 15, 143 Entertainment announced that his military enlistment date was moved to June 4.[11]
