Baek Jiheon (백지헌; or simply Jiheon) is a South Korean singer and lyricist under Pledis Entertainment. She is the maknae of the girl group fromis_9.

Career

2017–2018: Idol School and debut with fromis 9

In July 2017, Jiheon became a contestant in Idol School and finished the competition in eighth place, thus becoming a member of fromis_9.^[2]

The group officially debuted on January 24, 2018 with their first mini album To. Heart.

Personal life

Health

On February 24, 2022, Pledis Entertainment revealed that Jiheon was diagnosed with symptoms of anxiety. Following the doctors' advice, she temporarily halted group activities.^[3]

On April 18, 2022, Pledis shared that Jiheon's health condition had improved. Moreover, she was abled to join some group schedules. On April 22, she fully resumed her activities with fromis_9 1st fan meeting.^[4]
