Baek A Yeon (백아연) is a South Korean singer under EDEN Entertainment. She debuted on September 10, 2012 with the mini album I'm Baek.

Career[]

2011–2012: K-Pop Star[]

In 2011, she became a contestant on the reality show K-Pop Star. She was eliminated in episode 21 after ranking third place.[3]

On September 10, 2012, she made her solo debut with the mini album I'm Baek.

2019: Departure from JYP, change of agencies[]

On September 16, it was announced by JYP Entertainment her departure from the agency after her 7-year contract had expired on August 30 and she decided to not renew it.[2]

On December 7, she announced on her Instagram account that she is now signed under EDEN Entertainment.[1]

Relationship[]

On February 28, 2023, JTBC News reported that she would be getting married to her non-celebrity boyfriend on August 12. EDEN later confirmed that they have been in a relationship together, but denied the report that they would be getting married.[4] A few days later, she posted a handwritten letter to officially confirm her marriage.[5]
