Bada (바다) is a South Korean singer and musical actress under Wave Nine. She is a former member of the girl group S.E.S.. She made her solo debut on October 22, 2003 with the full-length album A Day Of Renew.

Bada is the youngest of three children of trot singer Choi Se Wol (real name Choi Jang Bong) and his late wife Cho Bok Soon. Her father was active as a singer throughout the 1980s until the 2000s. Her mother passed away on February 19, 2011 from lung cancer.[1][2]

In September 2016, Bada was revealed to have been in a relationship with an unrevealed man who is nine years younger and whom she met through her church.[3] On January 12, 2017, Bada announced that she will be getting married to her boyfriend later that year in March.[4][5] On March 23, 2017, Baba and her boyfriend tied the knot and officially married.[6][7]

In August 2020, Bada revealed her pregnancy.[8] The couple later welcomed their first child, daughter Kim Rua, on September 7, 2020.[9][10][11]
