BLINGONE (블링원) is a multinational girl group under World K-Pop Center.
History[]
Pre-debut[]
In mid-2023, the World K-Pop Center company announced its auditions in Peru to begin the debut project CLICK THE STAR, which will be broadcast in a web program format.
According to Lee In Soo, operations team leader at the World K-Pop Center, the idea is to create 32 girl groups from 32 countries, each with a single nationality, noting that this strategy is useful for developing fandoms and receiving support from the government. Of each country. Instead of countries that are already heavily involved in K-Pop, they will look to create groups in countries that may seem quite far away to Koreans.
The first sub-unit, BLINGONE Peru, was formed through CLICK THE STAR - PERU, which took place in 2023. The current members had to compete with 5,000 other contestants in Peru to come to Korea and debut as a group. To witness the debut of BLINGONE-PE, the Peruvian ambassador of Korea attended the event.
Members Kenny, Abigail and Rubi debuted on June 27, 2024, with their first original song, "Kiss & Call", after a six-month preparation process in Seoul.
Additionally, the CLICK THE STAR seasons in China and Mongolia began in March and May 2024, respectively.
On October 11, the members of BLINGONE China were announced.[2]
On February 7, 2025, Click The Star revealed that they plan to debut 32 groups based in 32 countries under the name BLINGONE.[3]
On April 1, Click The Star announced that the upcoming seasons for BLINGONE will be in South America,[4] South Korea[5] and Indonesia.[6]
On April 23, 2025, Junny confirmed that she had left the group via the comment section on one of her Douyin videos.[7]
