Aratake Rinka (Korean: 아라타케 린카; Japanese: 荒武 凛香) is a Japanese singer and influencer under Avex Management.

She is best known for being a contestant on the South Korean reality survival show, Girls Planet 999 and the Thai reality survival show Chuang Asia Thailand.

She made her solo debut on January 20, 2023 with the digital single "I Feel Good At Myself".

Career[]

2018: GAKUSAI SUMMIT, SNS influencer[]

In 2018, Rinka became the editor-in-chief and mascot girl of GAKUSAI SUMMIT, a branch magazine of College Festa. The magazine is aimed to report on school festivals and events all over Japan.[1][2] Since 2020, Rinka also became a TikToker and an Instagram influencer (albeit all her Instagram content has been deleted).

2021: Girls Planet 999[]

On July 7, 2021, Rinka was confirmed as a contestant on Mnet's newest reality show, Girls Planet 999, along with the other participating trainees, through the prologue trailer.[3] Her attendance was later confirmed by College Festa.[4] Her official Girls Planet 999 profile was released on July 19.[5][6] In the fifth episode, which was aired on September 3, it was revealed that Rinka, along with her cellmates, was unfortunately eliminated.[7]

2023–2024: Solo debut with "I Feel Good At Myself", Chuang Asia Thailand[]

On January 20, 2023, she made her solo debut with the digital single "I Feel Good At Myself". On December 31, 2023, Rinka was confirmed as a contestant on the Thai-Chinese reality survival show Chuang Asia Thailand during Thai shopping mall Icon Siam's Amazing Thailand Countdown 2024.[8] On March 31, 2024, she was eliminated in episode 9 after ranking 24th place.[9]
