Angel Rus (엔젤러스) was a canceled multinational six-member girl group under LPA Entertainment. They presumably disbanded sometime in October 2022 after LPA Entertainment's rebranding into Namoo Entertainment, and the group was no longer mentioned by the company's new SNS account.

On February 27, 2022, LPA Entertainment posted the group logo for Angel Rus on their Instagram, officially announcing the group.[1]

In March 2022, LPA Entertainment's CEO revealed that the group will consist of seven members including three Korean members, one Hong Kong member, and one Taiwanese member, with an additional Korean member and a Japanese member being added later. They also announced that the they will start activities in June 2022 and debut on March 2023.[2]

On March 19, 2022, Angel Rus made their first ever public appearance as special guest on DUSTIN's untact concert, which they officially introduced five of the members.[3]

On April 3, 2022, Angel Rus revealed their fandom name, Guardian.[4]

On April 6, 2022, Angel Rus revealed a Japanese-American new member, Christina.[5] Two days later, on April 8, 2022, they revealed another Japanese new member, Kira.[6]

On August 4, 2022, LPA Entertainment's CEO announced that Angel Rus would be going on a hiatus for the time being.[11] All their SNS accounts were also deleted on the same day.[12]

On August 21, 2022, it was reported that LPA Entertainment's CEO was investigated by the police, and his computer and cell phone were raided by the police for having compromising photos of female trainees which were taken and sent to the CEO upon his request. Text logs between the CEO and a Taiwanese trainee were exposed by the news article, wherein the CEO coerced the trainee into sending him full-body photos of herself in just underwear on every Tuesday. The company's representative has responded by claiming that it was done with the trainee's consent to shorten the preparation time for the group's debut.[13] This has left the current status of Angel Rus unknown.

In October 2022, it was revealed that LPA Entertainment has rebranded as Namoo Entertainment with Ayo and Kira still being under the agency. It is assumed that Angel Rus has disbanded due to the exclusion of their group name from the company's new SNS account.
