"Acid Eyes <Cherry Gene>" (also known simply as Cherry Gene) is the debut single album by ACID EYES.[Notes 1] It was released on July 6, 2023.
"Cherry Gene 'Baddest Mix'" was pre-released on June 6.
Background[]
On June 1, 2023, MODHAUS announced that they will debut a new tripleS's sub-unit, ACID EYES in July 2023 with the single album "Cherry Gene".[1]
Originally the album was scheduled to have a physical album release in July, however, MODHAUS announced on July 19th that due to fan fatigue from frequent album releases, they had canceled the standard physical sale of the album. The Cherry Gene album was produced as a commemorative album and distributed to WAVs free of charge during +(KR)ystal Eyes fan-sign events.[2]
