A-Daily (에이데일리) was a four-member girl group under DK Entertainment. They originally debuted as six on December 3, 2014 with their first digital single "If You Don't Tell Me".
The group disbanded on June 9, 2020.
History[]
2014: Debut with "If You Don't Tell Me"[]
On December 3, 2014, A-Daily made their debut with the digital single "If You Don't Tell Me". The lineup consisted of Ziu, Sena, Yunseol, ChaeE, Jade and Diana.[1][n 1]
2015: Line-up changes, first comeback with "Spotlight"[]
Since early 2015, A-Daily started promoting as four without Diana.[2] On April 14, 2015, DK Entertainment officially announced that Diana had left the group due to health reasons. They also opened a personal official fancafe for Diana and assured fans that she would join a new girl group under the agency in the future.[3] However, no further news has been heard since.
In June 2015, the agency revealed that ChaeE and Yunseol had departed from A-Daily to pursue other ventures and they planned to recruit 2-3 new members for the group.[4] The same month, Jei and YoungBi were recruited.[5] Now as four, the group released their second digital single "Spotlight" on September 30, 2015.
2016-2017: Chu, "You Are My Inspiration" & "Snow World"[]
On January 28, 2016, it was reported that two former members of A-Daily, only referred to as A and B, had won a lawsuit against DK Entertainment over their exclusive contracts.[6][n 2]
On August 3, 2016, the group released their first mini album Chu.
On September 23, 2016, they collaborated with Yang Hae Jung and released "You Are My Inspiration" as the theme song for "2016 K-Culture Korea Youth Performing Arts Festival".
On January 10, 2017, the group released their third digital single "Snow World".
2018-2020: Line-up changes, cancelled comeback & silent disbandment[]
On March 13, 2018, it was announced that Jei and YoungBi had left the group.[7] Therefore, the group became active as a duo with only Ziu and Sena remained in the group.[8]
In the last three months of 2018, the group continued to promote as four with multiple new members spotted at various events: Taeryeong, NoA, Serim, Sua and Chaea, before going on a hiatus in 2019.[9][10]
In January 2019, NoA revealed in an interview that the group was in the process of reorganizing their lineup and planned to make their comeback sometime later that year, as well as expanding their promotion into Japan.[11]
On September 3, 2019, it was reported that the group would started promoting again with Chaea and three new members: Haneul, Ari, and Doha.[12] On the 10th of the same month, Ziu posted her goodbye letter to the group's fancafe.[13]
On June 9, 2020, the agency announced on their fancafe that the group had disbanded.[14]

Notes[]
- ↑ Despite being a member, Jade only briefly appeared in their debut music video and didn't have any singing or dancing part. She also didn't promote with the group at any of their events.
- ↑ While the members in question weren't revealed, it can be assumed that they are ChaeE and Yunseol since they stopped promoting with the group in June 2015, aligning with the date that the members mentioned stopped promoting in A-Daily: May 30, 2015.
